The Ville de Richmond has a lot to offer you

The Ville de Richmond is the urban nucleus of a rather agricultural territory composed of the municipalities of the township of Cleveland and the township of Melbourne.  It is located in an important intersection with Routes 116, 143, 243 and 55.  Located in the centre of the cities of Drummondville, Victoriaville, Sherbrooke and Granby, Richmond is the perfect location.

A host of activities

In Richmond, we have something for all ages: Hockey tournaments, Irish festival, Antique Car Show, Newborn Celebration Day, Crazy Fridays and many other outdoor activities.  For example: The majestic Gouin Park, the Richmond Canoe-Kayak Centre, a complete sports plateau and parks in all parts of the city.  If you prefer, you will also find a golf club, a bowling alley or a cross-country ski centre.  There really is something for everyone !

Art and culture

In Richmond you will find an art centre, located in an old convent, offering high quality shows throughout the year, the Slate Museum, the Historical Society Museum and a rich architectural heritage that is the envy of many.  It is in Richmond that we find the highest concentration of slate roofs!  A detour to the Old English quarters of Richmond will convince you!

The region also hosts a large number of community organizations that contribute to making Richmond a great place to live.  If you have time to offer, you will certainly find an organization ready to welcome you in both the Francophone and Anglophone environment.  So go on, get involved!
